British first barracks

Beside of old site of the Possession Point is a site used to be a small hill on seashore, after the British soldiers landed there on 26th January, 1841 and then held a formal flag raising ceremony to demonstrated their possession of Hong Kong Island.
Barracks were set up later at that site but moved to Central District later, and the site became a market and then Hollywood Road Park now.
